5 out of 5 stars Best...   June 17, 2009

I have played and owned more or less every guitar hero controller that has come out and believe me when i say, this is the best one yet. The buttons aren't hard to press, they don't get stuck, and it just feels a lot smoother in a way... I don't guarantee anything, but i play a whole lot better with it. Also, the fact that it isn't wireless is so much better for people like me, you don't need to go around looking for spare batteries or a charger all the time.

i love this controller much better then the one that came with legends of rock which comes in two bits and was very loose and kept missing the green and yellow notes . this one is the perfect size for me and being wired doesnt have the same problems as the wireless ones

5 out of 5 stars Great Controller, best yet.   May 2, 2010

I've always found that the wireless guitars break after just a couple of months of plaing with them. I have now had this one for over a year and it has not degenerated in any way. The strum bar registers instantly and still has not failed to register a strum depite the battering it has encountered. The buttons never get stuck as they have done on previous guitars that i have had - although at first some of the buttons may seem quite stiff they soon loosen up. I saw a review that said you cant use the back/select button to activate star power; this is a myth, the star power can be activated using the back/select button or by tipping your controller vertically if the option to do so is selected. Overall I give this a good 9/10, I see no fault with it, yet i am hard to please... I always think there is room for improvement, even if i can't see where it could be improved.

Excellent guitar. Purchased for use with Lego Rock Band for my 8 year old son. He found it easy to "strum" until he can multi task with the colour coded keys also!!. The strap adjusts to fit kids (and Adults to play when the children have gone to bed!!)
