Globetrotter from EA is essentially a quiz game and gives a useful and fun lesson in geography. You play one of two characters who start their adventures in Europe at the Globetrotter club. Here you are given a number of assignments which involve taking photographs of various landmarks.

You need to ensure that your character is furnished with two basic travelling needs--energy and money. These are both gained by clicking on icons where you are asked a question relevant to the country you are visiting and given a choice of answers. You can also earn money by taking various jobs on offer throughout the city, these also involve answering questions to earn your wage.

Once you've completed your assignments in one city you can move onto the next destination either by boat, plane or train and you are rewarded by gaining in experience from novice level through to professional.

Although the graphics aren't brilliant they are certainly adequate and it's a neat idea for a quiz game. It's a fun way to get to know the worlds major cities, their most famous landmarks and sights as well as improving your general knowledge. --Kate Johns
